Northern Virginia Medi-Spa Services
The Med-Spa at the Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute is located on the top floor of a two-story complex that also houses a full-service day spa, the Lofty Salon and Wellness Center. Named for its founder and director, George Bitar, M.D., a board-certified and fellowship-trained plastic surgeon, this Northern VA medi-spa offers a variety of medi-spa services in a 4,000-square-foot facility that encompasses five treatment rooms, a relaxation area featuring Asian-influenced décor, showers, and a multi-purpose gym used for yoga, dance classes, and educational seminars.
In addition to administering all filler injections (including BOTOX®, Restylane, Radiesse, and Juvederm), the medical director oversees a staff composed of a registered nurse and several licensed estheticians. Guests can also meet with the doctor to discuss surgical options. At INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Dr. Bitar regularly performs such surgeries as liposculpture, breast lift, breast augmentations, neck lift, facelifts, and lip augmentation. A fitness trainer, a nutritionist, and a beauty and life coach are available by appointment.A signature offering among our Northern VA medi-spa services is the DNA-based Suracell system, designed by the co-founder of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. This new age-management program uses genetic analysis to formulate a customized regimen of nutraceutical supplements designed to address DNA deficiencies on the cellular level.
Licensed estheticians provide a full array of Northern VA medi-spa skin care services, microdermabrasion, and customized exfoliating chemical peels. Spa facials, waxing services, and makeup consultations and applications are available as well.Through its affiliation with the downstairs day spa, Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute can schedule massage therapy as an accompaniment to any of the above services. Obagi, Jane Iredale, Skinceuticals, and Image products are used and sold at the medical spa.
