Days of our Lives Appearance
Representing the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, our National Man of the Year, Dr. George Bitar, flew to Los Angeles to make a cameo appearance on the October 4th episode of "Days of Our Lives". His appearance was aimed at raising blood cancer awareness. It was the soap opera's 10,414th episode. The episode was also shown during the October 4th reception at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel to honor the candidates who raised money for the worthy cause of fighting blood cancers.
